RADZI KALONG

Radzi Kalong, from Malaysia. A graduate of the Diploma in Fine Arts (2017) and Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (2020) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), he likes watching movies and reading novels. He combines these experiences in his artwork. Radzi Kalong is more comfortable using the cross hatching technique. It connects him more with the texture and shape of the subject, which is created by the contour line. He wants his audience to feel the same. His strong side as an artist is ideas. He likes to put meaning in his artwork in the form of symbolism, metaphor, and personification. He liked to learn about human nature and science and tell stories about it. We have something inside of us that we are not aware of.
